MebbsNet's Conference Door v.161
Only works with MebbsNet .161 and newer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The "/*" function calls up the MebbsUSRS executable in your Conf Door
The HIDE feature which was so very popular in the Starnet model
of the USRS Door has also been incorporated in this door. If you have a user
in YOUR list of Users that you want to hide from then you will not show up
to him in either door usages.
The screen example shows how I have set up things so that callers can readily
tell if the other lines are being used and can use MebbsUSRS by Ed & Mike
Kolar to see who is on other lines, see what they are doing, and possibly ask
them to enter a conference room.
Put the following files in your doors directory called Conf
MNCmoderator.txt
MNClonghelp.txt
MNCBUSRS.txt
MNCshorthelp.txt
MebbsConf
MebbsConf.cfg <--- follow instructions as for MebbsUSRS
waiting.txt <-- after a few seconds of "dead air" this text will print out
Make your menu entry look something like this..
Option 'X':
Minaccess 2 ; or at least something over absolute new is recommended
Function Multirundoor doors:conf/MebbsConf
end
Thank you Bill, and I hope that the whole world buys the MebbsNet when you
roll it on out of that factory of yours.
If you like this MebbsConf Door then please support Bill Bowling at MEBBSNET
and Ed Kolar at the CHALKBOARD II BBS 1:320/121
MebbsConf will now handle and transmit line lengths upto 236
characters without locking up your system. PLUS if you forget and try to
force a 237th character, the MebbsConf program will send it out for you.
IF YOU HAVE HANDLES TURNED ON IN CONFIG, MebbsConf will now asks the
question. "Should MebbsConf use your Handle (Y/n)" .
Now, when someone is taking what seems like "forever" to type a message line
and you start to think that maybe everything is crashed, MebbsConf will
output the name that is typing and the configurable phrase as is in the
file waiting.txt. every now and again as long as you still are
typing.

P.S. We are trying to Start, keep, or maintain (however you want to look at it)
the convention of having (*) on all menus used to bring up MebbsUSRS and
(X) used to bring up MebbsConf. Please consider making any changes
necessary. It is logical, X for crosstalk and * for who's on other
MebbNet lines.
